If you have found one or more terms, to be added to your search string select one of the boolean checkboxes "and", "or", "not" and click the button "add to search" (situated at the lower margin of this panel) to transfer selected terms into your query.

MeSH is a very large medical vocabulary, published by the US National Library of Medicine, which contains about 22000 terms (english language) that describe medical concepts, such as diseases, chemicals, organisms, scientific terms etc.

MeSH terms are used by libraries and publishing houses to describe and index research data and publications applying controlled vocabulary.

MeSH is hierarchically -treelike- structured and it is made comfortably browsable by MESHine. Users who wish to search the internet and/or PUBMED / Medline databases effectively can use MESHine to easily select an unlimited number of correct search terms to formulate complex search strategies using boolean operators (AND | OR | NOT).
